I (will) Eat All the Lunch Specials at Red Jade

You read it right.

Here's what I like about Red Jade. A hearty meal for less than 15 dollars out the door. Food comes quick and you can also be out the door within 30 minutes. If you dine in, which I do most of the time, I appreciate that they give just a little bit more than your average American Chinese restaurant.

Their food sits nicely on the spectrum between Chinese and American Chinese food, which will be apparent as you read through individual reviews of each order. While I have been sticking to the same two or three things, I figured it's in the spirit of going out of ones comfort zone to try different things on the menu, even if my gut feel tells me I'm going to regret it.

Here’s the menu:

As you order, they will ask you if you wanted steam rice as the side. You can upgrade the default steam rice to fried rice, brown rice, or chow mien. For saucier dishes I would stick to steamed rice, but some dishes would be nice to be eaten with other than plain white rice.

Before I let you go about looking at this ever growing table, perhaps this little legend will help you understand what’s happening :
